After about three years of waiting and saving up money... I finally have a DSLR! Thanks to those who contributed to my 'fund' back in the day (I tried looking for the birthday card to see who signed it.. but couldn't find it in my box of cards), and a special thanks to ALychEeX who had the idea to start a fund in the first place! I didn't actually think I would be able to save up enough money for one (at least not so 'soon'), but putting aside a bit of money periodically through the years did add up! And since I bought a used body and lens, I probably paid about 50-55% of the original retail cost. Yay!
So this blog will most likely turn into more of a photoblog - which was actually my initial intention when I started the blog a few years ago. And hopefully my posts will be more frequent now, than my previous average of once every month or two.
